Boy Scouts of America – Berlin Hall

EP Engineering, paired with DesBrisay & Smith Architects, has partnered with Boy Scouts of America to provide the MEP design for their renovation project at Berlin Hall. Berlin Hall is a cabin used by Boy Scouts of America for meetings and activities. It is located in Staten Island, directly adjacent to Ohrback Lake.

The predominant scope of this project is a basement bathroom renovation. The existing bathroom is aesthetically aged and has malfunctioning plumbing fixtures. It will be demolished and replaced with a new, larger, properly functioning and more modern bathroom. This new bathroom will be equipped with showers for use by the Scouts after outdoor activities, such as fishing and rowing in Ohrback Lake.

We aim to provide a cost-efficient, yet high quality and fully-functioning bathroom facility in order to give back to the Scouts who, as we know from the Boy Scout Oath, “help other people at all times.”
