The 2018 STEPtember Challenge

Throughout the month of September, the EP team broke up into 5 teams for an in office challenge. For 28 days, we have committed to taking at least 10,000 steps per day (or 40+ activities convert steps), in support of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation, whose mission is to fund the most promising, cutting-edge cerebral palsy research in the U.S and the world.  Cerebral Palsy is the number one physical disability in childhood, affecting a baby every hour.

With the average office worker taking only 3,000 steps a day, STEPtember has challenged the team to hit the recommended daily step-count for a healthy lifestyle, all while fundraising for a great cause. Each team pick a target of steps and funds that would be raised by the end of the challenge. The motivation and competitiveness between teams has helped make September a fun month in the office. Be sure to check back to see which team wins the challenge.
