The NYC updated electrical code is finally arriving. Under LL128 of 2024, the 2025 NYC Electrical Code takes effect December 21, 2025.
There is an option to follow the new code prior to that, depending on the project type. The date will follow the primary filing date. Here is the breakdown of the timeline:
