ep cares
In 2016, we established the Three 3s, an initiative to give back to our communities by donating profit, project experience and time. We endeavor to leverage our growth as a small business to benefit community and environment, but we also want to empower our employees to be part of deeply meaningful experiences that inspire them, outside of work.
EP Gives Back in 3s
Our THREE 3’s philanthropic pledge can be described as follows: 3% of PROFIT is donated to charity; 3% of PTO TIME is dedicated to volunteering efforts; and 3% of REVENUE must be pro-bono work for institutions promoting community and sustainability.
Take a look at how we focused our charity work in 2025:
3% Profit
3% PTO Time
3% Projects

In addition to the 30+ charity partners that EP Engineering supported in the last year, we also took note of what was going on nationally. Donations were made towards several relief efforts for the California Wildfires, Texas Flooding and St. Louis Tornados.
This included a donation to:
California Community Foundation
World Central Kitchen
Pasadena Humane Society
Urban League of St. Louis
Community Foundation of Texas Hill County
Austin Pets Alive

WIN
EP hosted a Craft & Dinner Party for residents at WIN, the largest provider of family shelter and supportive housing in New York City, at their Harlem location. The evening was filled with creativity and connection as each child chose an activity of their choice, from building mini terrariums to assembling solar powered toy cars. Our team joined them at the tables, working side by side to bring their projects to life. After crafting, families came together to enjoy dinner accompanied by fun music, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere. To close out the night, each parent received a thoughtfully curated wellness kit, handpicked by the EP team as a small gesture of care and support.
Operation Backpack
EP Engineering joined Volunteers of America, Operation Backpack to ensure that every student living in New York City enduring domestic violence or living in a homeless shelter has a new backpack and school supplies before their first day of school. EP is committed to investing in the future and is proud to support Volunteers of America as a corporate and community partner, helping provide New York City youth with the resources they need to thrive in school.

The Big Climb
On May 18th, EP proudly partnered with Trane to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by participating in The Big Climb at Citi Field. Each participant completed over 2,500 steps, climbing to raise awareness and critical funds in the fight against blood cancers. LLS is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma. In addition to funding groundbreaking research, LLS offers free education, support services, and patient advocacy. We’re proud to stand alongside Trane in support of this mission. Every step taken and every dollar raised brings us one step closer to a cure—every bit truly makes a difference. We look forward to climbing for this meaningful cause again next year!
The Bowery Mission
We spent a wonderful Tuesday morning helping the Bowery Mission’s kitchen team prepare for the holiday season. For our final volunteer event of the year, we joined the lunch prep shift at the Bowery Mission’s flagship location. The Bowery Mission has been serving New York’s unhoused and hungry since the 1870s. Their work meets essential needs by providing shelter, hot meals, clothing, and compassionate support. This year, we were grateful for the opportunity to contribute to their Thanksgiving Week preparations. Our team has volunteered with the Bowery Mission more than five times across multiple holiday seasons, and we look forward to continuing this meaningful partnership.

3% of Revenue
We continued work with current and started with new pro bono clients this past year, which include:
- Wild Bird Fund
- The Wooster Group
- Fresh Youth Initiative

As our company continues to grow, so too will our goals. We hope to give back even more in the coming years with new partnerships and opportunities.
