Here at EP, we pride ourselves on our continuing commitment to good design and building better projects. We also strive to make a difference in environmental conservation and sustainability. We are constantly working to ensure that our actions and the products we purchase are environmentally responsible.
We wanted to put our company to the test and see if our efforts met the standards for certification. That’s when we came across Green America. The Green America Green Business Network is the first, largest, and most diverse network of socially and environmentally responsible businesses in the country. EP submitted an assessment for the company which looked over the types of projects we work on, the types of materials used for those projects and if we use any sustainable practices during production. Additionally, our in-office practices were assessed. We were able to verify our commitment to the use of post-consumer recycled resources as well as our practices to efficiently conserve water and energy. We also demonstrated our dedication to providing a healthier environment for employees through the use of products which received high EWG (Environmental Working Group) ratings.
We are honored to have received the Green Business Certification and will continue to expand on our conservation and sustainability practices in the future.
