Silver Mirror is a facial bar with various locations in the US. EP has provided MEP engineering services to help open multiple shops in NYC, Washington DC, and Miami. Each location typically features approximately facial stations, a reception area, and a Storage room with in-house washers and dryers, with some locations having an individual enclosed VIP room.
Project Highlights
- Since multiple locations are located outside of NYC, we had to become familiar with the local codes and filing processes with each jurisdiction
- Remote projects required special attention to resolve conflicts with contractors and Architect in a timely manner when on-site coordination is not feasible
- HVAC systems had to be designed to meet the requirements of Silver Mirror while adhering to the base building standards
- Creative solutions were often required to route Plumbing piping to avoid disrupting tenants on floors below
