Thompson Hotels, known for their luxury lifestyle brand, is looking to “green” their operations. In this effort, they have hired Minimal Productions & EP Engineering to perform sustainability & energy audits in various facilities across the world. To date, reports have been created for Gild Hall in downtown Manhattan, the Thompson Beverly Hills and the famous Thompson Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. Thousands of dollars in energy savings have been proposed.
Several energy saving measures were proposed with varying payback periods of less then 1-year up to 10-years. Baseline energy saving measures have been proposed including standard maintenance protocols for implementation at all hotel facilities.
