THREE 3s Pledge

In January we launched our THREE 3s initiative which established aggressive outreach goals for EP Engineering to reach in the 2016 calendar year. Our hope was to use our leverage as a small business to give back to the community and to the environment. We also wanted to provide our employees a chance to be a part of something important that was more than just a job.

Here is how we did…

We ended up donating over 5% of our profit, or $ $12,040!

We past our target of 60-hours of volunteering time and logged in 95-hours across the entire office!

This included 2 trips to our favorite animal shelter in addition to organizing a summer BBQ event with Volunteers of America.

Here we met our goal for pro-bono work valuing over $60,000 in engineering fees with various non-profits and schools like Stevens Institute of Technology, YMCA, NJIT and Engineers w/o Borders.

Our goals for 2017 will be the same – 3% of PROFIT will go to charity, 3% of PTO TIME will be dedicated to volunteering efforts and 3% of FEE will be pro-bono work for institutions promoting community and sustainability.
Since our company, profit and revenue are all growing heading into 2017, this will result in the largest outreach effort our company has ever taken on. We can’t wait for the many activities we are planning and look forward to keeping you posted on our progress throughout the year!
