Spending the afternoon with Animal Haven was the perfect way to wrap up our summer!
Animal Haven is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding homes for cats and dogs while providing behavioral intervention when needed to help improve their chances of adoption.
Our Wednesday afternoon was spent sorting through donations, restocking supplies, cleaning the shelter space, and taking some of the dogs on their afternoon walks. We even got to help care for an adorable litter of seven puppies!
Volunteering is always a rewarding experience, but this event became even more special when one of our very own team members found a new addition to her family. A special shoutout to Kate, who adopted Lottie and gave her a fur-ever home!
Animal Haven has had our continued support for several years. Since 1967, the organization has been providing care for animals in need while also establishing dedicated funds to support animals outside the tristate area and those facing severe medical conditions and illnesses.
